Introducing our World Class Trainer:
With over 35 years of experience in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations and Corporate Administration, Mr. Toh Siew Pat is a highly accomplished HR practitioner, corporate trainer and specialist in workplace investigations and disciplinary processes. Since 1995, he has held senior HR and Administration leadership roles in various public-listed companies, bringing extensive real-world corporate experience to his programmes.
Mr. Toh specialises in investigative interviewing, workplace and corporate investigations, domestic inquiries, employee misconduct, grievance handling, disciplinary proceedings, industrial relations and HR legal processes. His approach goes beyond interviewing by focusing on structured fact-finding, evidence assessment, behavioural observation, procedural fairness and defensible decision-making.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from the University of London and is an HRD Corp Certified Trainer as well as a Certified Maxwell Leadership Coach, Trainer and Speaker. He has also completed professional training in the internationally recognised Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation by John E. Reid and Associates, Inc., strengthening his expertise in investigative interviewing, behavioural analysis, strategic questioning and managing resistance during interviews.
As a trainer, Mr. Toh combines legal knowledge, decades of senior HR leadership and proven investigative methodologies into practical, workplace-focused learning enriched with real-life cases and professional insights.
From 2007 to 2011, he facilitated the CHRM and DHRM programmes at the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM). Since 2004, he has delivered numerous public and in-house programmes and has been invited to speak at conferences, seminars and industrial relations events organised by State Labour and Industrial Relations Departments nationwide. In recognition of his contributions and dedicated service to the nation, Mr. Toh was awarded the Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara (PJPN) in 2020.
